Rod has spent a rewarding and successful 5 years selling rural real estate in the local area and has enjoyed meeting people and the marketing of some amazing properties.
His previous experience has been in senior management roles in the wool industry. As president of the New Zealand Wool Scourers Association and General Manager of one of the largest Wool Companies in New Zealand, Rod gained valuable experience in marketing and negotiating.
After leaving the Wool Industry, together with his wife, they purchased a rural property in Karaka and ran a successful flower export business and added value to their property by establishing wetlands, planting coastal areas and subdividing. This experience has proven invaluable in his Real Estate career and he has taken an active role with a number of clients in giving advice regarding subdividing and adding value to their own properties.
Rod has also been involved with the Trees for Survival Program established by the Auckland Regional Council.
Recently he has completed the National Certificate course in Real Estate and hopes to achieve his Diploma in Business studies (Real Estate), in the not too distant future.
Testimonials
Val and I have done many purchases and sales of real estate over the years. Rod Enright is the best land agent that we have ever had dealings with.
He has the vendors interest totally at heart which is exactly what we expect for the commission we pay. This is the first time we have experienced this.
He has “old school” values, and a gentlemanly approach. His communication skills with his clients is first class. Rod is a credit to his profession.
Colin & Val Hunter, Karaka
Rod shows amazing integrity, honesty and sincerity in all of his dealings. When we first listed our property with him we had a very jaded view of the real estate industry as a whole, but Rod has quite simply restored our faith and shown us that there are indeed agents who do work for the vendor, aren’t pushy and make the process of selling so much easier. We wish to thank Rod for being a true gentleman throughout and for making the negotiation stage as stress-free as possible. Thank you Rod.

Excellent service and very informative without too much pressure and nothing was too much trouble. We had phoned him for viewing on another property and he suggested we did a drive by on this one, as we did, then liked the look of it. He had lots of patience as we did four viewings on this one before we bought. He had also arranged viewings on three other properties when he was very punctual and helpful. We thank him very much from start to end!

Having been in the industry for over 20 years I quickly realised the importance of engaging the local expert to market our home. Rod Enright was that person. His quiet confidence reassured us every step of the way through the process. His attention to detail was amazing showing our property to its best advantage. The whole experience for us was virtually stress free. The Auction process worked well for us with a positive result. Thanks Rod.
